Position Available: Master IV
The Starship Group are advertising a full time (or potentially permanent part time) Master Class IV position on board Starship Sydney & Starship Aqua.
Qualifications required: MCL IV, COLK, MED 3
The Starship Group is a small boutique charter vessel operation on Sydney harbour. The business has been operating for over 30 years.
We are seeking a full time Master for our two vessels. The suitable applicant will be responsible for the following;
- Safe Operation of the vessel
- Statutory compliance, SMS, crew training
- Liaising with all levels of the company
The nature of our operation is seasonal and operates at irregular times with significant weekend work.
The suitable applicant will be required during quiet periods to assist in some maintenance of the vessels or other assets of the company.
Should the full time position not be filled, as an alternative, a permanent part time position may be offered to a suitable candidate whose responsibilities are limited to Skippering the vessel, or vessels.
